Stand Strong CLT is a local initiative dedicated to spreading the message of equality, justice and peace through art within the Charlotte area and beyond.

The ‘QC Fist’ was designed by native Charlottean Dave Haire and was inspired by the peaceful protests taking place in the streets of Charlotte following the police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott on September 20, 2016. The image of the raised fist paired with the iconic crown mark of our city is intended to be a symbol of empowerment for those committed to creating in Charlotte a place of compassion, love, and equality. To stand up against injustice and oppression, we must stand together.

Stand Strong CLT is not affiliated with any activist organizations but supports the message and movement of the following groups. I urge you to click on the links, learn what they are about and donate if you can.
